GRANTS AND FELLOWSHIPS

SMALL RESEARCH GRANTS FOR UNM GRADUATE STUDENTS

The Institute for American Indian Research (IFAIR) announces Graduate Research Scholarships for students whose research focuses on American Indian topics and issues. We welcome research from any discipline or from an interdisciplinary perspective on both historical and contemporary topics. The Institute awards scholarships in the following amounts: $500 and $1000.

The funds may be used for research trips, supplies, books, or other research expenses. Awards operate through reimbursement only. The number of awards made will depend on both the quality of the applications received and the scholarship amount requested. Awardees will be asked to give a public presentation at a future IFAIR sponsored research colloquia prior to their graduation.

Stay tuned for announcements for funding and application deadlines for the 2014-2015 academic year.
